Are you constantly feeling stiff and struggling with the overhead position? If so you are far from alone! One of the most common problems we see in CrossFit is lack of shoulder mobility which limits our olympic lifts, presses, and gymnastic movements. For this reason we have decided to bring in certified yoga instructor, Nikki Orsborn to lead a 4-week upper body mobility series!
This 60-minute class will help stretch, strengthen, and stabilize your muscles over a 4-week period. Each session will focus on movements that help mobilize the UPPER BODY (neck, shoulders, arms, pecs, and upper back). The series will involve leverage blocks, bands, and self-massage. Take-home lessons/homework will also be provided each week.
Incorporating these learned techniques on a regular basis will help to greatly increase your mobility even in a short period like 4-weeks.
Note: Bring your own mat, if you have one; Arsenal will provide blocks, bands, and balls.
The four week clinic will run on Sunday’s @ 10am (11/24, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15)
Each class will be 60 minutes.
Cost is $40/member, $60/non-members
