Strength: Week 1 of Clean + Jerk wave. Sets should be challenging, but smooth. Loading for EMOM is moderate and EMOM 2 is moderately heavy or use percentages based of your 1RM from Monday.
Metcon: Open WOD 17.4. This workout is about strategy and saving yourself on the deadlifts. Try to beat your previous score if you have one.

Strength
1) EMOM 5: 2 Squat Clean + Jerk @75% of Monday or a moderate load.
Rest 90s between EMOMs + add weight to bar
2) EMOM 3: 1 Squat Clean + Jerk @85% of 1RM.

WOD
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 13 minutes of:
• 55 deadlifts
• 55 wall-ball shots
• 55-calorie row
• 55 handstand push-ups

Rx:
Men deadlift 225 lb. and throw 20-lb. ball to 10-ft. target
Women deadlift 155 lb. and throw 14-lb. ball to 9-ft. target

Scaled:
Men deadlift 135 lb., throw 20-lb. ball to 9-ft. target and perform hand-release push-ups
Women deadlift 95 lb., throw 10-lb. ball to 9-ft. target and perform hand-release push-u
