Are you interested in improving your endurance in the new year? Are you someone who struggles with workouts with a high volume of rowing and biking? Maybe you are debating running your first marathon or half marathon? If so, the Arsenal Strength Aerobic Capacity Course is for you!
Beginning Thursday, February 13, this 6-week course will meet 2 times each week for an hour long session aimed at improving your skill and capacity on both the rower and bike. At the beginning of the course we will test your capacity to establish baseline times and numbers to work from over the next 6 weeks. Each class will be comprised of drills to help you move more efficiently and generate as much power as possible on both machines, followed by an endurance based workout to help us build your aerobic capacity.
This program is designed to supplement your current training to help you improve your aerobic capacity over a 6 week period without sacrificing strength. The development of a strong aerobic base will benefit you across all aspects of your training and this course is designed to help you do just that, while also improving efficiency on the machines we see in our workouts on a weekly basis. Improved aerobic capacity will increase your overall performance in the gym while also helping you recover more efficiently.
