“I started CrossFit because my boyfriend Larry was in the Arsenal Strength New You program. On their last class I came to try it out. I was able to to jump right into so I signed up right away.
I loved CrossFit as soon as I started. It reminded me of what my preseason of college soccer was like but with lifting, that I never really did much of. I was excited to learn how to lift and how to become stronger in my upper body. I still love it just as much as the start.
My favorite part is running because that is my strength from running cross country in high school and soccer. I also like challenging myself and it helps having great coaches and everyone else encouraging me to not give up.
I have learned about my strengths and weaknesses through CrossFit. I have learned the things that I need to work on more than others. I have really grown from the start of me joining only a few months ago and I have surprised myself many times with new personal records.”
